Some shared mini setups will have the ability to also be a laptop docking station. All of the peripherals (mouse and keyboard), display, ethernet (wired network), and power are carried over by a single USB-C cable, allowing easy switching by a single cable. Sometimes these cables are left unplugged which then it is needed to plug the USB-C port back into the mini pc.
Either USB-C port highlighted with the red box can be connected with the USB-C cable.
