If your file is a .PPT, it will need to be converted into an .MP4 video.
If you have multiples images you are wanting to display, an easy way to put them all together in one file is to put them in a PowerPoint and export it as an .MP4.

  1. Double click on your PowerPoint (.ppt) file to open it.
  2. With your PowerPoint file open, in the upper left corner of the window, click File.
  3. In the bottom left corner of the window, click Export.
  4. In the middle of the window, click Create a Video.
  5. Make sure the file format is set as Full HD (1080p).
Next to Seconds spent on each slide: type the number of seconds you would like each slide to display.
    Then click Create Video.

Note: If you have recorded timings for slides in your file, you may use those instead of the set seconds option. Please note though that videos shown on BrightSigns are looping videos that cannot be stopped and started at will. If you are wanting to do a live presentation, you must do that in one of the areas where we offer an HDMI plug in (Pier 59 Puget Sound Hall Projector and Ocean Pavilion Overlook Overhead Screens), and plug a laptop in to present your slides live.
  6. Name your file as desired, make sure that the format is MPEG-4 Video (same as MP4) next to Save as type: then click Export.
