START OF DAY PROCEDURE


1) Log in to “CEAL – Presenters” (no password needed)


2) CEAL Main Page: 

 

System Power > System On Start of Day to activate the whole of Ocean Pavilion building systems > BACK to go back to home screen to choose exhibit

Audio does not work without start of day.

You can still turn on video signals without pressing start of day.


PRESENTER MODES

3) ON/OFF: 

Only available for The Overlook, Archipelago, The Reef

You can also find this button in each exhibit’s page; they have the same function; you are able to use the one of your choosing. 

 It requires physical override; it only affects audio. 

  • ON: for talks > will turn OFF audio for Ocean Stories.
  • OFF: when talks are over > will turn back ON audio for Ocean Stories.



ONE OCEAN HALL


4) Presenter Lighting: Turn on/off presenter small spotlights for talks.

  • South On / South Off
  • North On / North Off
  • DIM Archipelago ON / DIM Archipelago Off *NEEDS TO BE TESTED*

 

5) Shades: For Western Facing Windows (shades status is not connected)

  • Up
  • Down
  • Stop

 

6) Audio Mixer: Bright red means ‘muted’

  • Video server: audio that goes with projections.
  • Mics: 2 HH mics and 2 BP mics. There are 2 channels that can be used at the same time. You can use 2 HH or 2 BP or 1 HH and 1 BP.
  • Wall Input: wall panel connections (XLR, Aux) usable for special events

 

7) Ocean Story Brightsign: 

  • Mute 
  • Unmute
  • Reboot: It reboots Brightsign which contains content, only use if screen is not working properly.


THE REEF


8) Presenter Mode: 

It requires physical override; it only affects audio. 

  • ON: for talks > will turn OFF audio for Ocean Stories.
  • OFF: when talks are over > will turn back ON audio for Ocean Stories.

 

9) Presenter lighting: 

  • East or West (ON/OFF)
  • House lights flash: we believe it means lights will slowly turn lights on and off to tell public a presentation is about to begin.
  • Exposed Reef (ON/OFF) 

 

10) Projector Video Source: Speed of which it switches takes a while, it might change in the future. *TEST*
 You can choose between: 

  • What is a shark? Video
  • Presenter Brightsign
  • Dive cameras: SW, NW, SE, NE and Mobile 

 

11) Shark Video: 

  • Under ‘Projector Video Source’ choose “What is a shark? Video” >  Choose Play / Stop

 

12) Presenter Brightsign: 

  • Play Video 1
  • Play Video 2
  • Play Video 3
  • Play Video 4
  • Play Video 5
  • Stop Videos  

 

13) Audio controls:

  • Looping Video: What is a Shark? video
  • Microphone: 1 HH mic & 1 bell pack mic. There are 2 channels, mics can be used at the same time.
  • Brightsign 
  • Diver Wet Mics 
  • Diver Dry Mics: 4 dry mics. These can all be used at the same time and also be used with the regular mics at the same time.


JELLY NURSERY


14) Audio Levels: 1 HH mic & 1 BP mic. Can only use 1 at a time.

 

15) Jelly Prop Screen: 

  • Reboot. It reboots Brightsign which contains content, only use if screen is not working properly.

37) NW Camera

  • Presets 1-8: to choose 1 out of 8 presets for that camera. When you press “NW Camera” in the main “The Overlook” menu the chosen preset will show.
  • Save Preset 1-8: to change any of the presets for a new one using the arrows and zoom buttons to adjust the camera. 

 

38) NE Camera 

  • Presets 1-8: to choose 1 out of 8 presets for that camera. When you press “NE Camera” in the main “The Overlook” menu the chosen preset will show.
  • Save Preset 1-8: to change any of the presets for a new one using the arrows and zoom buttons to adjust the camera.

 

39) SW Camera

  • Presets 1-8: to choose 1 out of 8 presets for that camera. When you press “SW Camera” in the main “The Overlook” menu the chosen preset will show.
  • Save Preset 1-8: to change any of the presets for a new one using the arrows and zoom buttons to adjust the camera.

 

 

 

40) SE Camera

  • Presets 1-8: to choose 1 out of 8 presets for that camera. When you press “SE Camera” in the main “The Overlook” menu the chosen preset will show.
  • Save Preset 1-8: to change any of the presets for a new one using the arrows and zoom buttons to adjust the camera.
