To use your own computer to project to the TV


  1. 1) Power on the TV and Rally Bar using the remotes located in the tray under the sound bar or on the table. Make sure the TV's input is selected for HDMI 2.

  1. 2) Locate the purple Logitech Swytch device on the table and using either end (USB-C preferred) plug it in to either your PC or your Mac computer.

  1. It is important to note that when using a Mac computer you will need the DisplayLink driver installed and running in order for the Swytch device to connect to your computer. If you need to download the DisplayLink driver for your computer, follow the link below on your computer and download the version of the driver that is designed for your operating system. DisplayLink - For enterprises, offices, homes and meeting rooms.

  1. 4) Once plugged in (and DisplayLink Manager is running for Mac computers), your computer will automatically connect to the screen. 

 

  1. 5) To use the Rally Bar’s speakers, make sure your computer’s speaker settings are set correctly. To do this, go to settings, then sound, and make sure the playback device is set to Logi Rally Bar. You should now be able to hear sound coming from the sound bar speakers. 

 

  1. 6) When you are done using the space, disconnect the Swytch device and return it to its magnetic holder on the table. Power off the TV and Rally Bar using the remotes on the tray under the Rally Bar.

To use your own computer with Rally Bar System for video conferencing

 

  1. 1) Power on the TV and Rally Bar using the remotes located in the tray under the sound bar. Locate the purple Logitech Swytch device on the table and using either end (USB-C preferred), plug it in to either your PC or Mac computer.

  1. 2) It is important to note that when using a Mac computer you will need the DisplayLink driver installed and running in order for the Swytch device to read your computer. For PC laptops, this step is not necessary. If you need to download the display link driver for your computer, follow this link on your computer and download the version of the driver that is designed for your operating system. DisplayLink - For enterprises, offices, homes and meeting rooms.

  1. 3) Once plugged in (and DisplayLink is running for Mac computers), your computer will automatically connect to the screen. 

 

  1. 4) Double check that your computer’s microphone and speakers are both set to Logi Rally Bar.

 

  1. 5) Open the virtual meeting program of your choice (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and sign in appropriately to the application.

  1. 6) Make sure that the microphone, speakers, and camera settings of the program in use are all set to Logi Rally Bar.

  1. 7) You should be able to hear your meeting though the Rally sound bar and everyone in the room should be able to be heard through the microphones on the table and in the sound bar. The Rally camera will pivot around throughout the meeting to focus on the current speaker of the meeting. 

 

  1. 8) When your meeting is over, disconnect the Swytch device and return it to its magnetic holder on the table. Power off the TV and Rally Bar using the remotes on the tray under the sound bar.

Rally Remote Control



1) Large button at the top- This controls the camera angle during a video call. Use this if you would like to position the camera manually. Otherwise, the camera will follow who ever is talking at the moment. 


2) Red Mute Button- This will mute the microphones during a call. When pressed, the microphones will no longer be picking up audio in the room. The LED ring on the mic pods will also be glowing red to indicate that they are muted. Press this button again for mics to go live. 


3) +/- Speaker Button- This is the volume control for the Rally sound bar. Use this to turn the volume up or down.


4) +/- Magnifying Glass Button- This is the zoom control for the Rally camera. Use this if you would like the camera to zoom in or out during a call.
