Overview

Office 365 applications, including Outlook and Teams, use profile pictures. If you have not uploaded a profile picture, your application will show a colored circle with your initials in it. You can add a Profile picture to Office 365, which will carry through to all your Office 365 apps, including Teams and Outlook.

To add a profile picture, open https://office.com in any web browser. If necessary, log in with your Aquarium email address, and your user password.

If you don't already have a profile picture, your initials will appear in the circle in the top right corner. Here, the user's initials are TA.

Click the circle with your initials, and from the drop-down menu, select "My Office Profile."

When you position the mouse over the circle with your initials, an icon with a camera will appear.

Then, click on the "+ Upload a new photo"

From here, a window opens to allow you to browse to the image you want to use as your profile photo. Select the picture you want, and click "open."

At the bottom of the image is a slider you can use to zoom in if you want, and you can move the picture around the windows with your mouse, to chose how you want the image positioned.

When you're happy with the image, click the Apply button. Then, click the Done button.

This image will appear next to your name in Teams, as well as in your name in the the Outlook Address book, and everyplace where the circle with your initials appeared previously. It will take some time for the image to be distributed across all our systems.
